Angas Plains Wines, #Langhorne Creek is gearing up to celebrate their Cellar Door’s 10th Birthday on 15th October 2016 and will continue all weekend with Live music  in the vines this Sunday Afternoon 16th October 2016 1.30 to 4.30 pm. It is open invitation however bookings are recommended for Sunday lunch as the Moss Duo will be performing classic rock ballads live from 1.30 to 4.30 pm.

Phillip & Judy Cross opened the large wooden doors as the entrance to Angas Plains Wines cellar door on the 15th October 2006 and over the past 10 years have continued to expand the business and the offerings to the public.

Judy Cross said it has been exciting journey and over the years we have had many wonderful visitors.  It is quite amazing when customers return to the #Fleurieu Peninsular, and drop in again and remind us what has changed since their last visit.

During the past 10 years Angas Plains Estate range of wines has been awarded many awards and expanded with the wines being marketed interstate and overseas markets.

However, it is the cellar door that has been a driving force to their business with the business growing to offering lunches incorporating #eat local foods plus their very popular scones with Judy’s home-made jams.  Many visitors enjoy a drive in the country and getting off the main road, to drop in for lunch with a glass of wine or afternoon tea and enjoy our uninterrupted views across the vineyard and into the hills beyond Strathalbyn.

Angas Plains Wines cellar door has been hosts to hundreds of music acts over the past 10 years and continue to encourage and support live music in #South Australia.

Phillip Cross said it is great to have live performers that love to entertain our customers.  Our regular 3rd Sunday of the month afternoon music days can be very busy but it is great to be part of a busy happening place.

All the team at Angas Plains Wines are thankful for the support shown by their loyal customers and it is true many have become friends and look forward to catching up again soon.
