Langhorne Creek, South Australia Brick Red Cabernet Sauvignon  2018 Wine The Brick Red Cabernet has all the elements of a quality wine, the presence and power of varietal fruit flavours combined with palate weight to provide depth and length of flavour. The Brick Red 2018 Cabernet is a very dark berry colour. Aromas of red berries and with hints of chocolatr make up this complex bouquet. The palate is well structured with rich sweet berries and plum fruit, integrated with fine tannins making this a rich full bodied wine. Ready to drink now this wine will show further development with aging in the bottle over the next 6 years. 2018 was a very good growing season, this allowed the fruit to ripen evenly and infuse rich flavours into the wine. The grapes were harvested at the optimum time to deliver the intensity of the fruit and varietal characteristics of Langhorne Creek Cabernet Sauvignon.   Winemaking This wine was made as a small batch (12 tonne) in an open top fermenter over 8 days, before being pressed off skins.
